March 12 1:00 PM Blue Point Stables An Introduction to Horses – This is a 2 hour event designed especially for children ages 5-16. The Participants will learn how to groom, lead and care for horses. In addition to spending time the saddle, where the children will learn basic horsemanship skills. This is a FREE event but space is limited so pre-registration is required. March 12th @ 11:00 AM Obstacle Fest and clinic. Great for all disciplines, build horse and rider confidence. Have fun, meet new people and build a better relationship with your horse. Over 30 obstacles we will practice (approach, execution and exit) tips and tricks to getting the top scores. Please call to reserve your place only 12 riders will be accepted. Quarter Turn Ranch. March 14 Spring Break Day Camp Blue Point Stables 12:00 AM This year, 2011, our Spring Break Day Camp will run March 14 to March 18. The camp will start at 10 am and go until 4 pm each day. Each camper will participate in a daily riding lesson, as well as barn chores, horse husbandry classes and trail rides. Campers will need to bring their own lunches. The cost is $250 for the week. I offer family and return camper discounts.
April 9 @ 12:00 noon Spirit Mountain & Sport Horse Center Arena..Spring All Breed Horse Show at Sport Horse Center Arena in Clinton TN. These will be fun, low-key events for families to come and participate in and enjoy. We will strive to offer something for everyone by including english, western, gaited, beginner and speed classes. As always rosette ribbons will be awarded along with prizes through out the show. Even if it is your first time out we want to welcome you to come and show with us!

May 7 Blue Point Stables Mother/Daughter Weekend 10:00 AM Have you been looking for an activity to bond you and your daughter closer together? Do you love horses and want to learn to ride? Or do you have horses and want a fun and unique weekend? The Mother/Daughter weekend at Blue Point Stables is fun for all of it’s participants! Riders will enjoy the peaceful farm setting while receiving riding lessons, going on trail rides and sitting around the campfire at night. Bring your own horses or use ours. May 30 Blue Point Stables Summer Day Camp 8:30 AM This is the first week of our Summer Day Camps, and it will run from May 30 to June 3. Summer Day Camp is open to all levels of riders and is co-ed. Each Camper will enjoy a daily riding lesson as well as caring for their ‘horse’ and participating in horse husbandry classes. Campers will also partake in trail rides, crafts, swimming, and group games. Camp starts at 8:30 each morning and concludes at 4:30 each afternoon. Campers are required to bring their own lunches and a swimsuit for swimming activities.
June 4-5 Grand Opening of SOS Horsemanship Facility offers two days of clinics and learning fun. We are glad to have some of the best trainers coming to our event- Suzanne Myers, Marc Chancey, and Chase Dodd. You will be able to work with each one of these trainers for 2 days. We will be having Vendors, food, & Clinics. To audit the clinics will be $5.00 per person and children 10 and under are free. To participate in the clinic it will be $300.00. June 6-10 Rolling Hill’s Farm Horse Camp. We would like to invite any youth 2nd to12th grade to come to our Horse Camp. Time is from 10 AM to 5 PM. July 5 Blue Point Stables Short Overnight Summer Camp 9:00 AM This is the shortest Overnight Camp offered at Blue Point Stables in 2011. In addition to enjoying all of the activities of our Day Camps, Overnight Campers will experience campfires, theme nights, more riding time, and a horse back camp out. Lodging and all meals are provided. Camp will begin at 9:00 am on July 5 and conclude at 4:00pm on July 8. When this camp is combined with the Overnight ‘SHOW’ Camp a significant savings is incurred.
July 9 Blue Point Stables Overnight Summer ‘SHOW’ Camp 9:00 AM This camp will include most of the activities of the regular day and overnight camps but will include an emphasis on showing. In addition to enjoying all of the activities of our other camps our show campers will learn how to prepare for a horse show. On the final day of this camp they will participate in the July All-Breed Open Horse Show at Blue Point Stables. Lodging and all meals are provided. Camp will begin at 9:00 am on July 9 and conclude at 4:00pm on July 16. When this camp is combined with the Short Overnight Camp a significant savings is incurred.
